NRoSO Roadshows 2011-2012

National Register of Spray Operators Roadshows
Hutchinsons are pleased to invite you to attend one of our practical farm workshops, as a continuation of the training commenced through the Voluntary Initiative. This year NRoSO members can participate in an interactive training event that focuses on operator safety, the protection of watercourses and also receive an update on recent improvements in sprayer technology.
Dates, times and venues...

There are workshops dealing with broad-acre / arable crop production or fruit production / horticulture.

Operators will have the opportunity to share tips and solutions and also participate in a ‘Topical Update’ on the latest issues facing spraying.

Following this event, operators should be able to:

Understand the importance of correct PPE and personal safety.
Identify water quality issues relating to pesticide use.
Develop an emergency plan of action, if the worst happens.
The event will also look at sprayer technology of “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow”.

Operators should then be able to:

Identify sprayer features to improve performance and safety.
Understand electronic sprayer controls.
Specify new sprayers and glimpse some future technology.
