Our training programme is the most professional and comprehensive within the industry. New entrants are selected each year as post-graduates from agricultural colleges and universities, as well as from positions within the farm management and other industry related backgrounds. This modular training structure is provided by both internal and external resources and is delivered to the highest standards available within the industry.
We select candidates of the highest calibre, who demonstrate the ability and the dedication to develop their technical, commercial and interpersonal skills to the highest levels within the industry. The training scheme is a three-year programme which forms the basis for ongoing training and development of all Hutchinsons' agronomists.
The programme consists of two years' intensive academic reseatch, training, assessment and qualification, followed by a further year of support, during which the graduates receive continued coaching in all areas of technical and commercial performance.
